The DISOe is the next level up in getting the very highest quality out of your amp modeler setup.  Our buffer design has been incorporated to cleanly drive the transformers with improved clarity and tone, especially with the Tonex Ones.

What does it do?

• Converts 1/4 inch (balanced or unbalanced) to XLR balanced output.
• Protects from accidental phantom power damage.
• Transformer isolation allows for ground lifting to kill hum.
• Buffered 1/4 inch outputs allow connection to powered monitors or amps.
• XLR Summing switch
• Polarity Reverse switch for the Left XLR out.
• High Performance buffers to drive the output transformers to maximum potential.
• Runs on standard pedalboard 9V power at 40mA.

For DSP Guitar Rigs…

If you are using DSP amp simulation/load boxes such as the iK Tonex/Tonex One, UA Ruby/Dream/Woodrow/Enigmatic, Strymon Iridium, Line 6 HX Stomp, Walrus ACS1, Line 6 HX Effects, Boss IR-2 or IR-200 and are interfacing them in a live situation, a line isolator won’t drop your signal level like a direct box would, and will maintain the line level while giving the ability to ground lift and eliminate noise when running your guitar signal to the main PA.  In addition, transformer isolation insures that Phantom Power from the console never touches the outputs of your FX pedal.

For Driving Long Cables to Real Amps!

Based on our TXRX-S system, used by professionals on touring stages, the DISOe can also be used with a pair of our TXRX-M mono Receive boxes to push your pedalboard signal up to 300 feet via XLR mic lines to real amps.  Bring more versatility to your pedalboard!

Engineered for Pedalboards:

The DISOe is a 2-channel line isolator box made to integrate with other guitar pedals.  It can deliver pure, clean sounds in the studio and it has also passed the toughest test of touring life as well.

The two ¼ inch input, two ¼ inch output and two XLR output jacks are mounted on a powder coated, cast aluminum enclosure.  A ground lift switch is mounted between the XLR connectors so that it is out of the way and won’t get bumped accidentally. A stereo/mono switch allows summing the L and R signals to be summed to mono, if desired.

Hand-Built with Top Quality Parts

The DISOe is all about giving you a clean, clear signal all of the time.  We build them one-at-a-time by hand using US-made line iso transformers from Cinemag, high reliability all-metal connectors from Switchcraft and Neutrik and top-shelf sealed switches from Grayhill.  It is backed up with a full 3-year warranty.
